Sunday School songs for grown-ups.
One Kid's Lunch. "Sunday School" songs for grown-ups. Who these guys anyway? Two friends since about the 5th grade with a tendency to the weird, Dustin and Dave have been writing songs for over twenty years. After the thundering silence that greeted classics like "The Heimlich Maneuver", "Uncle Sam (is a Metal Man)" and "He Thinks He's a Kite!" (along with a few dozen band name changes,) and, even with the most excellent and humbling inclusion of "Attack of the 90ft Lounge Lizard" in an international Dr. Demento broadcast---the duo were compelled to dedicate their musical gifts (however rich or meager you might find them) to exploring their own faith, often tipping a sacred cow or two along the way. C'mon, it'll be good for you.... You might just like it.

Lyrics
My! What nice pajamas, they fit just right. Crawl in bed and clap to turn out the light. I pray the Lord, the only Almighty--keep this soul of mine neat and tidy As I lay me down to go nighty-night... And if I die before I wake, I pray that you'd take me and help me fly on Your wings of Grace to that perfect place Oh Lord, fly me. Fly me on home... Lose myself in thought about what might be. What great future lies ahead for me... I paint with such a colorful palette, then it whacks me like a big mallet-- could be tonight I meet my mortality! And If I die.... I dream I'm on exhibit as a chicken at the county fair. Dream I'm walking down the street in nothing but my underwear... Then I have a dream about a little "ticky-ticky" sound-- look up at the sun, it's a clock tick-ticking down... And if I die....
