Andrew Dean charges forward in high speed until the end, slowing up a bit only to connect with his audience... ...making a special connection to talk about those things nearest and dearest in his life: God, Country, and Family Then it's right back to full speed ahead, with throttle WIDE OPEN... and DREAMS that have no end. He cares and it shows, he is real, and he's genuine, that's the mark of a quality entertainer. Many wonder why he would rather talk about his sister Jenny's battle with cancer, than the numerous awards he's won. ...ask him, and he will say those award are reminiscent of new friends met in many cities across the nation. As for Jenny, she lost the battle with breast cancer in 2000, but a significant role model for her younger brother, Jenny's influence is always present when talking with Andrew, and he has made Breast Cancer Awareness one of his many adopted charitable organizations. Compliment his Tribute To Veterans songs "In A Mother's Eyes", "Lonely Soldier", or "The Price", and you may be in for a heartfelt discussion on the necessity to provide our heroes, troops and veterans with quality health care, jobs, and the respect they deserve for standing up to protect our country and freedoms. Go out to dinner... and you may find the Dean's seated around a family sized table, giving thanks to the Lord. Yes, they do pray in public places, as well as at home. God is faithful, always providing what is needed, and Andrew and his family worship openly. Annually they all walk CROP WALK for hunger, giving food and donations to needy children in over 80 countries. You see, when what you see is what you get, you only get the best with Andrew Dean. He is proven, driven, loyal, trustworthy, energetic, with some of the best Country Music to come out of Nashville. Visit the Official Andrew Dean website: http://www.AndrewDean.US

Story behind the song
At the holidays we all experience joyful times, but remember: There are those who struggle daily with the loss of a loved one. The holidays can seem empty and full of loneliness, so lend a hand, visit a neighbor or shut-in. Share some cookies, a short visit, a movie, a smile. Someone that YOU know would really appreciate that, more than you'd imagine. Remember that you're never alone, the Lord is always with you, so reach out to another person and lift them up. Invite someone to church with you!!!!! All my music is available for download --> click NEW
Lyrics
This is Andrew Dean wishing you and yours the best Holiday Season, and although many of us are very happy at the Holidays, some of us have sad moments at the Holidays. One of my sad moments was losing my sister 3 1/2 years ago to breast cancer. I always miss her, but at the holidays there always seems to be an empty chair where I think she should be. I’ve come to realize after 3 1/2 years that there will never be anyone in that chair. But, let me share this with you. 2 1/2 years before her death it was Christmas time and she didn’t know where she was going to get the money for presents. So she bought me a pair of gloves. She also bought my wife a small potpourri container with some small vanilla scented waxes. And when she gave these gifts, with her eyes welled up with tears, she said, “I’m sorry, I realize that it’s not that much, but it’s all I can do.” She died a couple of years later and never really knew the true meaning of those gloves. Those gloves represented a gift from the heart that warmed my hands, until my fingers fell through the ends. And, although those gloves are gone, there still is the potpourri with vanilla waxes sitting in my bathroom. I miss her dearly, but when I come home with a bad day, and it seems like the whole world is against me – I can walk into our bathroom and smell vanilla from the waxes, and I know in my heart that my sister is there, watching over me. So, at this Christmas time, my wish for you, who have lost someone, is to hold something in your hand that reminds you of them, think of their loving memory, wish for them peace, and know that they are watching over you the whole year through. May you have a Blessed Christmas.
