Hi! I'm a guitarist, singer and songwriter currently living in Fredericton, N.B., Canada. I've been performing music in one way or another since the mid '60's, starting out singing tenor in a barbershop quartet with my brothers and then into a progression of bands playing rock, jazz, blues and country and... whatever. Story behind the song

this song is about 25 years old and co-written with Pat Hawkes, bass player in my old band. He wrote the lyrics to the first verse on a scrap of paper, half-sang them to me and I took it from there.

if there's one thing I'll never do again I haven't done it yet
so I think about  what lies ahead, not what I forgot to pack

Great song Ralph, really,

lyrics and melody giving such a beautiful ballade, excellent arrangement and production, a perfect song. Stupend guitar lead I enjoyed really much.
