I believe in maricals, this one I know is true.
It happened many years ago, in nineteen ninety two.
A wreck out on the highway, the rain was pouring down.
An everybody heard it, for miles and miles around.
It had to be an act of God, for any too survive.
But eight year old Melissa, made it through alive.
She lay in a coma, four months to the day.
And when her eye?s were opened, here?s what she had to say.
I saw Mommy and Daddy, get up and walk away.
I wanted to go with them, but they told me to stay.
that?s when I saw Jesus, He took me by the hand.
said it?s not your time Melissa, some day you?ll understand.
He picked her up and kissed her, then he put her down.
He took her in to Heaven, and showed her all around.
See this crown of thorns I ware, given me by man.
See these scars upon my feet, and these here on my hand.
now go back and tell them, all that you have seen.
Yet some will not believe you, They?ll say it?s all a dream.
But you will know deep in your heart, that all you saw was true.
And if you ever need me, I?ll be right there with you
I saw Mommy and Daddy, get up and walk away.
I wanted to go with them, but they told me to stay.
That?s when I saw Jesus, He took me by the hand.
Said it?s not your time Melissa, some day you?ll understand.
It?s not your time Melissa, someday you?ll understand.
