No claims of being a performer. I just give it what little I've taught myself musically by songwriting. Recorded by mic, straight to computer as sound on sound.
Born at an early age, I was just a kid at the time....from there memory escapes me, until 2000 or 2001 when I decided to teach myself guitar. In order to teach myself guitar, I took to writing songs. From there, I added bass and occasionally, harmonica and a small touch of electric guitar. Not much of a performer, but I love to experiment writing songs. So, it's nine or ten years into it so far....and I've only scratched the surface with tons to learn. Maybe, you'll find something you like on the nearly three pages, I've loaded so far....Comments are welcome, I don't expect all comments to be favorable, but objectively constructive. I make no claims of being a performer....I just give it my best with what little that I've taught myself both musically and in songwriting. All songs are either written, played and sang by myself or my attempt at covering a song by my favorite artists.

Howdy Wade :-) May be its your typical instrumentation what leads to the point of your music. And when your voice comes in the whole song becomes perfect! Yes you present a traditional style of country music - but it has the touch of our time (lyricy too) and that mix makes it unique, distinctive, awesome +...+... Its the atmosphere you produce with voice, guitar and bass what brings it deep into the soul of the listeners. Im really impressed of you and your music. My best wishes and compliments Erik (I like to delete some of my tunes -may be to much ..)

This is a warm and charming song , as you reflect on words of wisdom spoken to you by your grandpa. Nothing can compare to a wise man filled with the years of knowledge, compilated over decades. And by listening to this song we would say grandpa was a pretty smart cookie :) :) The tune sticks with us from the get go, simplistic melody that comes to life, as you add that sweet sounding bass guitar. Man that hits the spot, so rich, fat and pleasing to our ears. Your vocals were captured perfectly , and flowed flawlessly throught this entire production. This track will have us coming back again and again. We love it and give it a score it deserves. 10 out of 10!!!!!!!!!! Respectfully... Jerry & Candace Willard ~ES~ 2 ~OMT~
